BIOCOMPATIBILITY TESTING

Biocompatibility testing has been conducted on Nellcor sensors in

compliance with ISO 10993-1, Biological Evaluation of Medical

Devices, Part 1: Evaluation and Testing. The sensors have passed

the recommended biocompatibility testing and are, therefore, in

compliance with ISO 10993-1.

PERFORMANCE CONSIDERATIONS

WARNING: Pulse oximetry readings and pulse signal can be

affected by certain ambient environmental conditions, sensor

application errors, and certain patient conditions.
